Offensive Language

Some people take the NIGGA word offensively because back and the day that was something white people called colored people and they didn't like it. I mean even though we aren't suppose to use I still do around my friends because, they understand me and they use it a lot to its just something we can't let go, My uncle is WHITE and he thinks that he can use that word whenever however because he have been in our family for a long period of time, but I told him he got to learn and watch how he use it or who he's referring to at times because some people get very upset or snap out when you say the NIGGA word to them. One night me and my friends were on CAMPUS and we were just walking around enjoying ourselves and this WHITE guy came up to us and was like WHAT'S UP NIGGAS, all we could do is laugh because he was drunk for one and for two he had no idea what he was saying or what was going on. His friend was like dude you can't say that I"m not trying to get my A** whooped out here, he said lets go and the drunk guy got upset because he didn't want to leave he wanted to stay and hang around with us just because.

Whats worth knowing?

What’s worth knowing? Knowing about why do kids these days want to change their sexuality and wanting to be someone or something that they can’t be. Why do men/guys thinks they are powerful? They think they are powerful because some of them do what they want to and they can treat others however they want, but whatever they can do us as women are capable of dong whatever they can do so can we its not a doubt about it because most women out here now are ingle person making a living for them and there kids and there are men out here that’s single taking good care of there kids by themselves even though this economy is bad. Sometimes I believe that men try to under estimate women. I had a friend that’s from Africa and her father thinks he’s in charge of everything, like taking care of everything and the mother not suppose to work she suppose to stay at home cook and clean. But I feel like if she want to get out and find a job she can because its her life and this is a FREE country and she can do as she please without permission because she is a grown women who can make her own decision. With my generation both women and men work because that’s the way they were raised not to be lazy and work hard and in order to get expensive things you got to work as hard and have as many hours as possible even if it takes over time, going shopping and taking trips are what women love to do the most and my grandmother work hard to do what she want I mean my grandfather help out the best way he can because that’s his wife and plus he has his own business so whatever we ask for we get it, it’s never been a NO or MAYBE or NEXT TIME. With that being say men aren’t that powerful like us womenJ.

Personal choice, something I did over the weekend

Friday I had a half a day, I went to work and work for 9hours came home did some homework and chilled with my brothers and watched some movies that came on t.v. Then later on that night I spent some time with my boyfriend went out to eat and after that I dropped him off at home and I went home too get some rest so that I can get ready for work that next morning which I wasn't ready for but I had to do what was best for me make MONEY. Saturday came and I hung with my sisters and some of our friends and cousins we was at my house for a little while, they was waiting on me to get my self together/dress we went over too another friends house and played around and cracked jokes all night and ordered pizza and watched t.v. having fun, until I got a call from my boyfriend asking me if I wanted to get out and spend some more time with him and I told him that I was with my friend and family but it turns out that all of us went our separate ways that night when I got to his house he made me dinner and we ate and talked about some important things in life and what we need too be focusing on because as of right now things aren't going the way I would want them to but there not as bad they just not what I planned on doing but things will get better and time will tell.

Who's knowledgeable, literate, powerful

KNOWLEDGEABLE- My favorite first cousin Tierra La'chelle Brown is knowledgeable in many ways she is so smart it just makes me feel so left out like DUMB because its like she knows everything off the told of her head. I wish she was still here so that I can get all the help I need from her but she is doing something with her life going too school at CLARK ATLANTA UNIVERSITY, too be an Lawyer she has a lot of degrees in many differnet things and she is only twenty years of age, I love her dearly like she was one of my big sister If I need an answer to anything or any advice I can call on her when ever I needed too. If she knew what my grades was looking like right about now "OH MY" she would go off on me so bad that it'll make me want too shead a tear.

POWERFUL- Who is powerful I am because I can tell my brothers and sisters what too do because I am the eldest and they got to listen too me and respect what I say and do. GOD is really powerful and many different ways because he suffered his life for everyone there for no one in this world is perfect and never will be because they couldnt do the things that GOD has done for us. But Parents and Teachers Supervisors and many more have the right and the power to tell the students and employees what too do and what not too do.

My way of learning

My way of  learning
My different ways of learning is...basically If I study something and see something more than one time then I'll remember it by heart because its something I see over and over again. I can remember faces but not names if they not around me, I can remember songs without hearing them if I listened too them more than once, sometimes I got to think awhile before I understand lecture. Sketching things can make me understand more an drawing. If I see it and write it down I'll remember without going back and look such s taking notes making flashcards or making a song out of my homework to help me remember . Annotating
things and circling and highlighting things also help a lot of people learn. But some people have a lot of different ways too learn suxh as just listening too something they'll get it right then and there they dont't need too the overhead projector or a book too take there's notes. I have also learned from my mistakes at I've done in the pass such as not taking notes reading my book or pay attention when the teacher is trying to explain too me whats going on and what I need too study for, but its like it never fails because I find myself doing the same mistakes when I get lazy I dont' want to do nothing or when Im irritated I just be like now I'm not doing this then I get to thinking in he long run well maybe i should of did that because if you do what you suppose to do it pays off and you'll have nothing too worry about it later on in life or whenever. My boyfriend and  family and teacher always tell me not too give up keep going because they know im smarter than what I am I just don't apply my self how im suppose too.

Before I got to know him I was affraid too even hold a conversation with him, but eventually I got to talking to him on MYSPACE and then the phone. We got to talking more and more as time went by took step by step one day he came over too my house too meet my mother and siblings , they were so happy that I had finally got a boyfriend but I felt that  was to youg because I was only in the seventh grade we started to spend more time together and he asked me to be his girlfriend one day but I was so shy I didn't know what to say I blushing because i really liked him I felt that we had a lot in common and that he can understand me a lot eveytime I was sad he made me happy if I was having a bad day he made it exciting he cheered me up when I was sad and down. He just bring joy to my life, not only is he there for me when I need him but he gives me the best advice such as family/friends and school advice if things aren't going the way that I've except them to be he just say JASMINE everythings going to be okay don'tlet that petty stuff bring you down baby your stronger than that. Everytime we go out like in public everyone always say your yall related we look at eachother and laugh and say NO everybody thinks that because they say we look a like but I don't see it at all, most people say you know if you have been with a person for a long period of time then you start too look alike but he i do't care because I love him and he's my everything and I'll never let him go I believe we'll be some famous couple in life that people would look up too in the long run. I plan on being a Register Nurse and he's going to be a Rapper, with a big house and three beautiful intellgent respectful/responsible kids with nice cars.

School influence on how i see myself

Well first of all school is my main focus but I seem to get destracted all the time. In the future i see myself in a big house with three kids and i want to be a RN. i feel as if i don't get through high school I'll never make in life, sometimes when im not doing so god in school I always tell myself you not going to be able to get in nobodies UNIVERSITY only a COMMUNITY college. But I have high standards for myself and i believe if i try harder and study more than I'll be a better student. I see myself as a good nurse in the future, young and successful.

A time when I felt important a school

A time when i felt important at school was November 3, 2010 my birthday when a couple of my friend came onto the intercom and sung happy birthday to me i was really happy because i didn't know they was going to do that. Then when I got to class i ahd cupcakes on my desk and ballons that my mother had brought to the school for me & my classmates. That day i felt really special because i had a lot of suprises and got a lot of money and a new car & me and my Bestfriend Qunisha Pates went out to eat during lunch at Longhorn an later on that night we went out to eat with my family too a soul food resturant that was called Smo-King-Pit. That was the best day ever because the very next day i went shopping in my new car I was to happy i didn't know what to do but have a lot of fun and do what i wanted when I wanted.

If adolescent spend their time immersed in ugliness probably depends on your philosophical outlook. Reading about homicide doesn't turn a man into a murderer; reading about cheating on exams won't make a kid break the honor code. Basically this lady is making kids interested.


Well there was this young girl in high school that was about to be a teen mother and one day there was this administrators told her that there was no way that she could make it through high school, so they recommended that she gets her (GED) which is a General Education degree and move on with her life. She had taken the (GED) test an thought that is was way to easy for her so she transferred to a alternative high school, and is now the mother of three-year-old and a high school graduate soon too attend college. She have yet receive a letter from a child somehow debilitated by the domestic violence, drug abuse. racism, poverty, sexuality, and murder contained in my box.

This I Believe

     The story I read was Love Is Trust and Faith, its about a girl that would hate too look at herself in the mirror because she didn't like her body, she had bruises on her legs and arms. Even on a ho summer day she'll still wear sweat pants and long sleeve shirts. She had an eating disorder that effected her a lot it all started on a cereal diet and then the sacred heart diet, then the laxatives, and the prescription drugs.

 To betray Natasha would be to ruin her happiness and her dreams, to keep quiet would be an ultimate expression of our love. Love is trust and faith, in all circumstances. Love is never giving up. Even in the most devastating conditions, never doubt the power of will, never doubt the human capacity for great change. This I believe, I believe that people must love, unconditionally.
